Vaughan Snow Melt - Phase 1
Gas and venting for this mechanical room overhaul in Vaughan
In order to meet the demand of the new Lochinvar 285,000 BTU boiler, a 1-1/2″ gas supply line is required. Cutting open a newly finished basement is never a fun thing to do. Tes and George are up for the challenge. Multiple holes are made through the ceiling to allow for navigating our CSST GasTite supply line. It must also be supported and out of harms way when patching up the drywall.
Perfect, the gas line is now roughed in and ready to start the venting
Coring through 2 concrete walls at ceiling height was a task in itself. It didn’t help that we hit multiple re-bars along the way. Watch out for the network cables on the other side of this wall.
Venting and gas are roughed in and ready. Lets get started on the checker board, boiler room, and hydronics.
