Are you planning to install an outdoor kitchen with built in BBQ, side burners or pizza oven? Looking to connect your Weber, Napoleon or Crown Verity grill or barbecue to your gas line?
It is the perfect way to entertain your guests while enjoying the comfort of your back yard. Your can keep the mess outside while still being engaged with your guests while preparing meals.
The most common mistake people make, is assuming their current/builder gas supply line is sufficiently sized for these types of projects. Consult with us during the planning phase as you may need an upgraded or dedicated gas line. The last thing you want is to lay down the interlock only to find out you cannot connect your 4 or 5 burner BBQ to the existing supply line.
If your basement is unfinished, we can likely tap into the main and run the line through the basement to the back yard. If you are performing extensive landscaping work, the best solution would be to tap into the gas meter and run a dedicated line for all of your outdoor needs. This will ensure you do not create a supply and demand issue with your internal appliances.
The minimum supply line we run to outdoor kitchens is a 3/4″ IPS gas line. This will ensure your BBQ and side burner is running at peak performance. Most builders rough in only a 1/2″ IPS supply line which is typically undersized for these types of applications.
